01Project Scope

Sometimes a business doesn't get stuck on the work, but on the story behind it. Stephanie Mulder of Sense helps entrepreneurs at exactly that point. Their identity has worn thin. What the company says no longer matches what it is. Stephanie has battle proven methodes for those issues, and she wanted to make it visible in one short video: what she can do for businesses when they feel stuck, or lost. She came to me through my own network. No agency, no middle layer. Just an entrepreneur with a clear brief and a script she had written herself.

02The Process

Thirty-five seconds is short. Every second has to do something. Stephanie provided her own text, in her own words and her own rhythm. That was the starting point. My job was to put images under it that never say more than she does, but carry her voice. A supporting audio track filled in the rest. Visually, it became dark and colourful. The dark steers the focus towards the subject. The colours mirror Stephanies brand, vision and character. It had to feel like sitting in a quiet room while someone talks to you calmly.

03The Result

The video is placed on Sense's website, as the first introduction to Stephanie, her methodes and inspiring opportunities. Not a company film explaining what a expert does — an introduction that shows how it feels to see clearly again who you are.
